So it's no wonder that he grew up to be a professor and a biologist who studies hearing. And me? Art and medicine have been my paths....I've been a potter, done lots of photography, been an acupuncturist for over 24 years, and for the past 4 years I've added sound healing. It seems I've never stopped learning, and never stopped listening.
It's interesting to look back and reflect upon the moments that seemed so ordinary at the time, and yet had a profound influence over the course of my life....My family, my relatives, my friends, my community....even things like the TV shows that were popular then, and the music. All of them went into the "pot", influencing the flavors and textures of my life.
Do you remember the people or things or events which played a part in shaping your life? I'd love to hear about them.
